It’s well known that I will by a dress or a skirt purely because it has pockets. I’m not talking about those font saggy pockets sewn onto the front of the garment like pouch, but instead the besom pocket that can often be hidden.

My reasoning for the pockets is versatile ways in which I utilize them. When I feel awkward and don’t want to cross my arms, when it’s cold and my are like ice, when I am trying to carry too many things in my hands and just need a convenient temporary transport, and of course for the convenience of my keys when I’m out and about.

After attending Fashion Week and talking with a few of the local designers, I confessed my love of pockets to them. They all seemed to get it. I hope you do too.
